8 Port 10/100Base-TX Fast Ethernet Switch

Unicomís Micro-Switch/8 is a compact 8 port 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch designed for small work groups. This switch provides 8 N-Way 10/100Mbps RJ-45 ports with an Auto MDI-MDIX Crossover function and will automatically detect the speed of the device that you plug into it allowing you to use both 10Mbps and 100Mbps. The Micro-Switch/8 has a dedicated 10/100Mbps bandwidth. The full-duplex operation mode effectively doubles the bandwidth for each port. It can increase the bandwidth of the 10M Ethernet port and the 100Mbps Fast Ethernet port to 20Mbps and 200Mbps, respectively. To enhance the packet transmission, this switch supports IEEE 802.3 full-duplex flow control and half-duplex back pressure congestion control. In addition, the Micro- Switch/8 executes the method of store-and-forward by autolearning and stores source addresses on a 4K-entry MAC address table.
